Ok so I passed the driving test and cpc license tests as a new driver. I got the truck cpc card two weeks ago

Now my question is , do I have to complete a module this year or start next year. My father and bro in law are book in for 1 in August .

Hey, if you register on the My CPC section of the RSA website you can see exactly when you are due to undertake training, and what modules you have completed.

No you don't need 1 this time but log on to My Cpc as suggested

    Faith

Contact trainer about the module. It may be them or possibly the RSA may not have accepted it. Phone calls required

Yeah I rang my trainer and they told me they sent the relevant forms to the RSA. I then rang the RSA and they said yes we have them on the system (All three) and not to worry about the mycpc information. Can anything be done right in this county ffs  Once the RSA have them on their system that's all that matters I suppose.

I'm in the same boat as the OP in that I just passed my driving test and final CPC exam. The question is do I have to contact the RSA in order to get them to send me a driver card application form, or do they contact me?

I asked the tester and he didn't have a clue as to what the procedure was.

Yeah you have to ring the RSA and get them to post you out the application form. You return it completed with your photo and you'll be issued your card.

The application forms should be widely available soon, for example the RSA is sending them to Driver CPC training centres to distribute to drivers also. Should have been done ages ago but better late than never.

So to update my situation .....

I rang the RSA, was kept on hold for about ten minutes (bye, bye call credit), and was then told I would have to wait another 6 to 7 weeks for my application form to arrive. Then the nice lady on the other end puts me on hold again for another 2 minutes!!!! ....and then returns to revise that earlier waiting time down to 4 to 6 weeks.

What a wonderfully efficient organisation the RSA are....

Do. You have a Digital Tachograph card
You can use the info off it
If not go to your nearest Driver Cpc course provider
    They should have application forms
