Panic button for store

    Hi,

I'm not sure if this is in the correct place but I'm hoping someone could advise me if it is possible to get a panic button for a fast food restaurant.

We open until 3am and because of this we have been having trouble with security. We had new security doors and a higher counter with a smaller openings fitted. However last night someone managed to smash through the door to attack the staff. They destroyed the shop but luckily no one was hurt.

The staff were not able to call the garda as they weren't able to get to the phones.

I was hoping to get some panic buttons installed... Where would I go about getting it done? And how much should I expect to pay?

Go over to the Home Security forum in the rec section, plenty of alarm system advice to be had there.

I think any retail business can get one. You are a cash handling business. It has to be linked into an alarm control centre though and monitored for false alarms though.
The Gardaí give priority to answering panic alarms but incorrect use can lead to response being suspended
