Are they opening the upper tiers in Croke Park tomorrow?

Just wondering as I'd prefer Hogan/Cusack upper if possible but from what I hear only the lower levels are open right now. Is there any point in holding off until tomorrow to see if they become available or should I just buy what I can now?

    Cheers

No chance they'll open the upper tiers for a Leinster hurling final, even one featuring Dublin. The upper tiers only really see action when the Dublin footballers play or the championships reach the AISFs these days, and rightly too. Nothing worse for atmosphere than 30k spread around both tiers.

You need at least 40K inside Croker to get an atmosphere, only one Leinster final not involving Wexford since the 1950's has been over 40K Dublin V KK in '91.

I'd say around 28-32K at the game, Dublin's support will increase but Galway won't travel in large numbers.

Gone are the days of decent crowds at Leinster Hurling Finals :(

Anyone that's been at any senior AI club final could tell you how wrong that is. Electric.

Aye, Bridgids Kickhams game was one of the best live games I was at, then again, I was in the Bridgids section.

There was also a good atmosphere at the league final this year between Dublin and Tyrone, think there was only 30 odd thousand.
