    Hi all,
I will be studying in Cork in Sepember and just wondering what Reed's Square, Barrack Street is like as place to live and study?

    Cheers

    Hey,

I presume you'll be studying in UCC?

Barrack Street can be great craic! It's not far from UCC and leads directly into city centre. For this reason it can be noisy especially on student nights.

The hill at the end/start is a bitch to climb up but you get used to it! Parking sucks

It's fairly central I guess and a lot of students will live near or just off it so it's a great area when socialising
