That Lancashire oaks is a dire race, good luck with Banoffee, I considered her for it, but she ran to her best form in the Oaks and that's not good enough to win even this crap race.

It is an.absolutely dire Oaks. 9/1 with eight runners was decent i thought with a big weight allowance

Fallon wasting down to 8-6 (joint lowest weight in the last 12 months) says a lot about Banoffee's expected chances. Still haven't made up my mind on the race yet.

He was quite sweet (see what i did there) on her prior to the Oaks

You might as well be on her as anything else in the race, and she could improve. It's hard to believe she's only rated at 93 after her impressive Cheshire oaks win. I was trying to pick something in it because there's value in the race prices, but I just couldn't make a case for any of them.

Its definitely a punters race if you fancy anything if the eight stay in. Safe to say there is no Great Heavens or Playful Act in it this year

    2:05 Sandown

Kingsgate Native on his best form is a good bit clear of anything in this race, and there looks to be an overreaction to his poorer run last time as Ascot when he never really got into the race. He has possibly been as good as he ever was until that run and 6/1 here looks serious value as he doesn’t have to be at his best to win here

2 Points win 6/1 Stan James & others

    3:30 Haydock

Difficult race without any real standouts but Communicator has been a very consistent horse over the last year and although he wasn’t great last time at Ascot when he was hampered on a couple of occasions he could well get involved here of the same mark he was second in the November Handicap at the end of last year. He has had only 2 runs this year so , could well improve and looks great EW value at 28/1

1 Point EW 28/1 Stan James & Betvictor

    2:40 Sandown

Taking a flyer here on the outsider of the field in Bronze Prince, he just looks too big a price for one with very decent form and of his current mark could well get involved here. He gave a very decent performance in a good conditions race at Kempton which looks very good now considering how the others have run since. I’m hopeful the step up to 8 will suit him and 66/1 is too big.

    1 Point EW 66/1 Various

Banoffee seems like a shot to nothing in the Lancashire oaks, well worth a punt at that price. Also fancy Franciscan in the old Newton cup (though that may be last night's Franziskaner talking!!), asatir in the 2.40 at sandown and Lovely Pass in the 3.15 there too...

Kylachy Rise looks a nice price 6-1 first at sandown.

Integral looks very smart, Came from a long way back and was still a bit green but put that race to bed quite well.

I put up 4.40 Haydock Ducal 14/1 on his last start when Shane Kelly absolutely ****ed his chances with a pathetic ride as he got him stuck behind horses in a 6 runner field still on the bridle with 1f to go and when he got a run it was all too late. This is definitely a better contest but there is a lot of pace on today which should be ideal and I think he can make his presence felt today under Pat Dobbs.

I have given up on Model Pupil. Today was his last chance, liked the horse ever since he should have won the Chester Vase but just didn't get there after not handling the track but disappointing

Going to have a small ew on Last Destination in the last at Leicester. Usually shapes best at Beverly but he's running off effectively 48 with the 5lb claimer on board, and drops back down to Class 6. Distance/ground fine and while the jockey isn't the greatest on planet earth, there was some money for him this morning and he usually peaks in June/July. Fav looks way too short a price but was also backed am.

I see piqué sous lost yesterday. Seen it coming....I have no doubt in my
    Mind they had no
Intentions in winning yesterday. Prep run for Galway, hopefully ill get a nicer price as a result

Hardly beaten by rags though. Wasn't the most tactically astute ride but I don't think he was good enough yesterday.

True re rags. I'm of the opinion piqué sous has something purposely locked away that hasn't been shown yet. I'm hoping it transpires in the Galway hurdle. I assume Ted veale will be going for that aswell?

Yeah Galway hurdle looks to be the plan for Ted Veale. Blackmail got a shocking ride last night in that race.
