spare wheel problem

Thanks for reading, I've a zafira got a puncture on the wall of my front wheel.The problem is I can't get the spare wheel out from under the car there is a bolt holding up the wheel from the boot but its a bout 6-8 inchs long and looks sprained so the bolt is just turning and not releasing. Anyone ever have this problem?…

put a jack under the bar next to where the hook fits and raise the bar up..if theres any slack, it could come off the hook.

theres no slack at all I tried lifting it over the hook it wont budge won't even rattle or shake its solid.

If it's bent might be best cut it off with hacksaw or bolt cutters or angle grinder and get a replacement.

Or if possible jack it up for now take punctured wheel off and bring to garage to replace.
