Hi guys my hrv unit has just been commissioned and i was away when done so did nt get the run through on it yet. I find the air quite stale and very dry (i know part of hrvs job is to take moisture out of air) and when i wake up in the mornings my eyes are quite dry. Question is can the air exchange rate be increased or can the air humidity be increase with the settings. any advice? I am considering turning it off and opening windows but after 4200 euro I would rather it not just be a winter appliance

    Hi,

    What make is it?

Mine is a Proair and I have the facility to adjust for 3 operating speeds by moving a jumper connector at the unit itself.

Slow, medium and fast. If I select fast then this is the same as having the boost on all of the time...

Mine was commissioned at slow and I changed to medium myself a couple of months later as I felt it was needed...

    Mike.

    Hi Mike,
Thanks ya mine is pro air as well- not sure of the exact make. This sounds like I could do with a setting change as well for the summer months especially. How do I access the controls
just screw off the front face?
