    From Wiki..
Drought is an extended period of months or years when a region notes a deficiency in its water supply whether surface or underground water.

    My guess is Wednesday. :pac:

    Drought? Come to Galway

    No doubt very soon.

I reckon my regional water company (Thames) will no doubt put out a warning in six weeks if there isn't any rain. Given the recent water works they've completed (well not that recent), they said it should end all leaks :pac:

Had to laugh at that, since there were at least 3 water leaks, thankfully not big ones, in my street alone. Another part of London, there is always a constant stream, excuse the pun, of major water pipe burst :pac:

There can still be a drought, when there's tons of rain. It's about potable water.

No, Ireland has an antiquated water supply provision.

A drought? In Ireland? I can't remember the last time we had a proper drought. It must have been 2003 or 2004. Personally I'd love a nice spell of hot, dry weather, especially as last summer was such a washout.
