I understand that income over c10,000 is subject to USC. My income at the minute is around 300/ week, 270 after PAYE and then a little more than 20e on USC. So assuming I worked for the entire year my gross income would be around 15600e. However if I only worked for say 20 weeks in the entire year and my income for the year was 6,000 would I be entitled to a refund on the USC I paid weekly?

    Thanks for any help

Yep. Now it is done on a cumulative basis, so if you are working for the second part of the year you will pay less, or be refunded by your employer, as the case may be. If you are unemployed for the second part of the year, then you can apply directly to revenue at the end of the tax year for the refund.
