How to bring up the issue of holiday pay...

Our staff (of 2!) work in a small shop.

Management changed at the start of this year. Last year (under old management) holiday pay was given without being asked for.

This year, the other staff member went on holiday last month and didn't receive holiday pay.

I'm going away at the end of the month, and I want mine so I'm just wondering how I could bring it up without sounding like a brat?

I would politely remind them that when you are off they need to process your holiday pay for you. If they kick up a fuss let them know it is a statutory requirement to pay this.
