High Sulphur fert and ragworth

I was trying to kill moss so got high Sulphur fertilizer. Had about half a ton left and put it out on a field that last year had a lot of ragworth. Anyway, walked this field today to pull any ragworth and found almost none. Is this accidental, or does Sulphur help in the fight against ragworth, or is there less ragworth around this year? Do I put a whole lot more high Sulphur fert out next year and never have to break my back pulling weeds again?????? That might be just wishful thinking though.

Did you not have a post about copper deficient animals??

If so sulphur may further lock up Copper

Ragwort is a bi-annual plant, so you maybe in for a bumper crop next year all going well

Yes, I did have cu deficiency. Didn't know that about the fertilizer. I've been using mineral buckets and have black angus calves rather than redish ones so think I'm on top of that problem. Looks like I'll have to wait until next year to see what happens to the ragworth. Ah well it was a nice thought.
