Farranfore Car Rental

    Will the car rental companies drop car to train station or pick up at train station? It's a 15 minute walk to the Airport I reckon. Not a major inconvenience, but would be hand to have the option.

    If you stay on the train to the next stop which is Tralee, Enterprise Car Hire is right across the road from the train station. That might be handier for you.

    Thanks for the tip. Farranfore is substantially cheaper though I think.

    [EDIT] About 50 or 60 euros cheaper, and I am actually going to Sneem so Killarney would have been ideal but no cheap cars there either.[/EDIT]

    For the car hire. Farranfore always has really good rates for car hire.

    I'll give them a call on the way down and see about a lift, otherwise will walk.

    It may be worth your while ringing Enterprise in Tralee. Tell them the price they are up against and they may be able to help you. I have had to use them a few times and they always try their best for you. It's worth a phone call anyway. Enjoy Sneem if the weather is anything like it is today in the Kingdom you will have a great time.
