    Hi All
Long-time reader of this forum, first time poster.
Trying to lose some weight and not having much luck with gyms, just can’t get into the habit of going every second day, but still trying.

I commute from lepoardstown valley every day so 10Km there and 10km back, so im going to try cycling.

    My questions?
I was in with Darren from buildabike and I’m thinking of going with this bike http://buildabike.ie/bike/amantea-100. I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a bike until I’m sure I like it and it’s something I will do every day.
He mentioned that he would give me a ten percent discount (over and above tax saving), a free helmet and lock with the bike and two years free service.

I taught this was a good deal, is it?

Anyone cycle Leopardstown valley to city centre what’s the route like?
Cheers in advance for any replies

Its about 10km to Clyde Road along the N11. Easy heading into town (down hill) and a bit tougher on the way back. I've done it for about a year. Easy to get use to it

Cheers for that, has it a cycle lane the whole way, sorry if it a stupid question, never cycled on Dublin roads before so not sure what to expect
