Hi all, can you please tell me if I can book and pay for a bag for the return journey only with aer lingus? I am going to Spain next week and I can manage with hand luggage only for going but not for coming back. Thanks

Yes you can (well at least I have done it). Before your return home, go into 'manage my booking' and just add the bag there. You pay the extra for the bag and print out the confirmation just in case there is any query at the airport. Obviously there shouldn't be, but I am ultra cautious.

I definitely would print it out as evidence or at leats have the mail on an ipad or whatever.
Everything should be fine on the irish side but abroad they only have whatever's on the system and I have lost a child** once cos of it

**only lost off the booking, the actual 3month old was permanently attached to his mother at that stage!
