    Hello.,
Hoping someone can provide me with a bit of advice/info. I am currently in receipt of 80e per week on JSA. I am expecting a baby next week. Once i have the baby my payment will be 109e. I am desperate to get back to work though, and have a few questions regarding the Job Bridge and the CE Scheme.
I am now eligible for an internship (unemployed 3 months+). My first question is what my weekly payment will be. As far as I can see its my current welfare payment + 50e, so 159.00e. Is this right?
Secondly, come November I will be in receipt of a welfare payment for a year. From May to November last year I was on maternity benefit so I have been unemployed for a year since May. Does this mean i'm qualified to apply for CE scheme now or do I have to be in receipt of JSA orJSB specifically for 1 year+?
Also, if not, and I hold on till November and apply for CE scheme how will this be calculated?
From what I can see the minimum rate of pay is 188e+ 20e so 208e. Is this right?

Basically I am inclined to hold off applying for an internship if I will be paid 169e for up to 40 hours work per week. A huge chunk of this would go on petrol and childcare and the 6/9 month period would not contribute to my 12 month eligibility for the CE scheme.
If I hold off for the CE scheme I will be paid 208e for 19.5 hours work, meaning less on childcare and petrol and I could work part time at same time.
Are my figures amd facts right???
Seems the obvious choice is the CE scheme.
Needless to say the preferable option would be a full time, non scheme job but they seem to be few and far between!
    Any advice welcome.

Time on CE counts towards Jobsbridge eligibility but not the other way round.

Some more detail here from another thread:
Time spent on Tús, Rural Social Scheme, Springboard, JobBridge or Back to Education Allowance will not count towards the qualifying period for eligibility to CE. Entry to CE following any of these
programmes is not considered as a suitable or valid progression.
The only exceptions to this rule are:

if the BTEA was being received for second-level education purposes.
Tús participants who have completed 52 weeks on that programme can progress onto CE for a maximum of one year where it is considered appropriate within the context of an agreed progression plan mediated by Intreo/DSP Employment Services.
Progression from CE to any of these programmes (excluding Tús) is considered as a suitable and valid progression.

Current CE participants can avail of 3rd level Springboard programmes at zero cost. The CE Supervisor will follow the ILP process and on reaching agreement with the CE participant on the course choice, the CE Supervisor should refer the participant to the appropriate Intreo/Employment Services Officer or Job Facilitator. The Springboard course can then be input and approved by the DSP Community Development Officer via the ILP system
