How much Car parking do GMIT provide on the Campus?

How much Car parking do GMIT provide on the Campus? Want to compare against NUIG.
Anybody know the hard numbers?

Students/staff living within a defined zone of the campus (generally circa 1000-1100 metres) will not be entitled to a permit as this is deemed to be within a reasonable limit of the campus to use alternative transport or to walk in 15 minutes or less. A list of named addresses inside the zone can be view at the end of this policy.

show they have 1,979 spaces (and projected 1992 by 2014)

There is significant spill-over parking into the residential area's for parking at both campuses as well; this has been documented in the local media. Am just interesting in the hard figures of the GMIT Campus. Are they publicly available?

Definitely contact the college for definitive figures but GMIT parking is also available in the Galwegians pitch so I presume it'd be an estimate rather than an exact number.

Ya would be impossible to calculate that. I am interested for the moment in the Campus itself. However you have got me thinking - wonder how much they are paying in rental to the Galwegians RFC for the car parking?
