Looking for service parts for my car, which micksgarage no longer seem to have in stock. Can anyone recommend a similar site or would I be better just going to the local motor factors? What's the best motor factors in north Co Dublin or Blanchardstown areas?

98 Honda Civic, MB shape (5-door hatch). They don't seem to have any service parts for it and their online help thing is useless.

It's very easy to beat them in some areas. Haggling hard for an exhaust (back and middle box) for my clio at best was 165 euro from my local motor factor. 99 euro including courier deliver to my door from micksgarage. Showed them the price I was getting from them and they wouldn't budge, throwing money away they were.

Wasn't even looking for much more off, more to support a local business. At least MicksGarage is an Irish business.

You can even pay a nominal 2-3 euro and they will replace any wrong or unneeded parts later for no extra charge.

Just ask your local motorfactors for a trade price. When they ask, just make up a generic name " ****** Auto center" etc etc.

    Big difference in the price.

I cant stop laughing at his.!! suppose its when you put 'up North' and 'extortionate' in the one sentence.:):)
Hope it is better than the one you took off.
    Good deal though, well done.

Washman3, i was up in Donegal and happened to price around , i was told by a neighbour to look at GT, my point being that the internet does not mean cheaper when possibly it should be! imo

Go look at gtexhaust.co.uk, not sure if their price are on there, but I used to sell GT and they are a hell of a lot cheaper than Bosal, the brand we also used to sell.

Woth regard the quality of the product, the bosal did look cleaner and more polished, but we never had a GT one back, always fitted. And who needs something shining where no one can see it?
