    Hi,

Just wondering if I have this right?

If I buy a new house (completed within the last 5 years) I have to pay VAT on the purchase.

If I then occupy the house for less than 2 years and wish to sell it again, the sale is again subject to VAT provided the second sale is within 5 years of original completion.

    Thanks.

Are you going to live in the house. You are not VAT registered.

Are you going to rent the house our. You can't tax a residential letting.

Not going to comment on any other use as I am have already said too much see the charter.
