And are they peered with HEAnet?

I'm trying to get Oireachtas IPTV working.

I've tried the following in VLC, rtp://233.4.189.33:1234

No errors, but no video either. Apparently, it will work on Magnet, or on HEAnet itself. Anyone able to shed any light, or try it themselves?

I'm pretty sure Eircom peer with HEAnet, but your own network equipment (switches, routers) will also have to support multicast-related protocols. Specifically, IGMP (and possibly PIM). I have my doubts that Eircom would enable this on home equipment, but check your router's admin interface to see if there's a way to enable these for your network.
