I have over 500km done on my new felt and i think gear cables are getting loose. When i shift up gears, sometimes a click doesnt occur but the lever feels loose when selected and then when i press lever again the gear eventually clicks and selects a gear, sometimes it works, other times it doesnt. Its shimano ultregra 10 speed gearing. Easy fix or a job for LBS?

    New cables have simply stretched.
Its an easy fix but if you bought the bike new I suspect that LBS will do the first service for free so bring it to them.

Have a look at Sheldon Brown's web site.

    http://sheldonbrown.com/derailer-adjustment.html

Scroll down to the photo, identify what he refers to as the Adjusting Barrel. Open this out in small increments, maybe half a turn at a time (anti-clockwise) Try shifting gears after each adjustment until you are happy with the results.
