Reputation is pretty good. I know a good few that did it and all have jobs in the finance sector with the majority of them working in State Street in Dublin or KK. Another few are working in banks, one in hedge funds (I think) and the other I'm not sure but he's doing something to do with stock trading (but it isn't stock trading).

Job prospects in Ireland in general are pretty poor but you've a lot better chance of getting something with a Masters than without one.

As for the PHD, that's very easy to pursue as long as you get your Masters. However, as this is a taught Masters, you'll be starting from scratch for your PHD. If you're sure that you are pursuing a PHD, why not look into a Masters by Research in WIT which can be upgraded to a PHD pretty easily. Gerry Arthurs & a woman with glasses who's name escapes me at the moment are the two in charge of it. Gerry's not the nicest to deal with but she's grand.

There's about 15 - 20 places available each year on the program as far as I remember.

Hi, I would encourage you to email the course director for the best response. From what I know admission is straightforward if you have a 2h1 or better (60%), and international equivalency is established through the nairc.
