    Hi lads,
just started watching fringe recently I am 16 episodes into series 2.

Trying to avoid the internet wiki etc for fear of spoilers, however one thing is annoying me.
agent charlie francis got killed in the 3rd 4th episode of the season via the shapeshifter storyline.

however was watching an episode last night, might have been episode 13, and olivia was on the phone to him, they went to a crime scene and questioned someone. peter saw him as well,

was this some massive oversight by the producers or is it just something I spotted related to the story that hasn't yet been revealed.

there's been no mention of him since.I was watching it and thought wtf.

please no spoilers for future episodes/seasons. thanks.

That might be 'Unearthed' you're referring to. It was made during the first season, but didn't air until the second. Confused a few people.

Confused the hell out of me at the time, too. Oh, the joys of season 2 :D

Ridiculous that Fox didn't bother their holes mentioning it in advance at the time either. Also it was one of the worst Fringe episodes ever, they probably should have just left it unaired.

As a "fan", I'm glad I saw it but yes, it was pretty much filler and not essential.

It was just a bad episode all around, believe me, Fringe was my favourite non-serious TV Drama show of the last few years, but when it was bad, it was pretty bad. The fact Fox didn't mention the fact it was an un-aired episode from season 1 in advance was bad too, many (including me) took it at the time to be a good sign that the show would not last past season 2.

I am glad it did though. Walter remains one of the greatest TV characters ever :)

Indeed. One of my two favourite television Walters :D

(Breaking Bad, just in case anyone's wondering)
