    hi have just bought 1993 john deere and when drawing loads of bales it is tending to drift to the right has happened a few times on the road. any ideas please...its got three month warranty. cheers.

    Is the steering ram moving the road wheels without you moving the steering wheel? If so you need a replacement steering motor. I don't think they can be overhauled, at least not by your ordinary mechanic. (char-lynn comes to mind for some reason) Major safety issue, I would think, needs sorting before warranty runs out.
