I have been lurking for the last few months and learnt so much from the contributors here. I have been using my Xbox for the last two years and I have let the membership run out. I am keen to get back to PC gaming and lose days on end!
I have put a basket together on Hardwareversand.de and would love to hear you thoughts.

Cooktek Antiphon - Would love a quiet PC
    Be quiet 500W
    FX6300
    ASrock970 Extreme
    8GB gskill
    Wifi Card
212 Evo - Hoping it will fit
7950 Club3D - is this quiet?, my last card was a screamer

Is the 7950 worth going slightly over budget or would a 7870xt or even a 760 be more suitable for 1080 gaming.

    Thanks

You made good choices to be honest. I don't see room for improvement. The 7950 is worth going a little over if you can afford it. Which club3d model is it? The coolers on the club3d 7950's are very quiet anyway.

You could add a couple of extra fans to that case if you want to improve airflow for overclocking. You may need a fan splitter though. HWVS sell them as well. Search bitfenix 3 pin fan splitter. If it's bringing you too far over budget then you will be fine with the 3 stock fans for now.

Thanks, Its the Club 3d Radeon HD 7950 13 series €266.

Would two additional fans on the top of the case be enough? Trying to balance heat/Noise!

    That gpu is quiet then.

1 bottom intake and 1 top exhaust would be better for a total of 3 intakes and 2 exhausts.

Put the top one at the rear.

Just as another option if you feel like saving a small bit of money..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BBKO65S - Sapphire 7950 Dual-X with Boost for £208. Look over the right hand side and choose Amazon as the seller for this price. Works out at about €245.

I ended up choosing this one over the Club3D for my own build mainly because of the price.

Good find danger, I searched amazon yesterday for 7950 and some how missed the Sapphire model, good buy! The price I saw yesterday was very similar to hardwarversand.

After months of waiting, I pulled the trigger yesterday. Can't wait to start building. Best of luck with your own build
