Applying for JSB, given means test form

I made an appointment this morning for JSB but the letter I was given says I need to fill in and bring back the means test form. I'm specifically applying for JSB, even though I'm entitled to less, to avoid the means test. If I don't fill out the form, will they just send me away again when I go for my appointment? Or will they accept that it's a JSB claim and ignore that form? It's very frustrating the way the forms are the same for both even though the requirements are different.

There is an option on the form to choose if you don't get full rates of JSB, do you want to be assessed for JSA, did you tick that box.

Anyway just explain to them that your not interested in making a claim for JSA

When you go back for you appointment just tell them you do not wish to apply for jsa only jsb. Most offices will give a means test form if a person has only a graduated rate of jsb. But you can opt for jsb only if you so wish.
