    Hi,

Few quick questions about Sky ON DEMAND. I'm upgrading my box from sky+ to the new HD+ box.

    1. If I get the box from sky(€12.99) for connecting sky box to wi fi, will it connect to any broadband suppliers wi-fi or does it have to be sky broadband.

2.Will sky on demand via red button work without having a landline.

    Thanks

    That's it

The wireless connector will work with any broadband supplier as long as it supports a wire less signal (if you can connect your smart phone to your broadband it will work) and no the red button will not work without a landline

What red button are you talking about ? You don't need a phone line to use On Demand apart from pay per view services such as movies if you don't already have a movie package.

on demand puzzles me!!!! after the sky upgrade i was getting 'box sets'; itv player[from which i down loaded poirot etc];4od; and about 20 sky station player versions[incl espn from which i downloaded british and irish loins tests 1 2 and 3 from 1997;2003];etc;;; down side were changes to settings --one would have to ring a sky number to affect]----in otherwards just like the adverts for same..........then it was all gone[well bar the downloads ...its now a few films i'd have to pay for and 1 episode of supranos;all in a very basic format ;i have rebooted disconnected reconnected ...nothing is bringing it back... did i end up getting the uk version for 4 weeks or what?
