Thankfully I am not a scrapbooker. But if anyone is thinking of starting, perhaps you should read this first (:D). I found the link on a crafting forum I occasionally visit.

She used the expensive scrapbooking machine to create all sorts of cute vacation-related clip art to stick on the pages of the scrapbook.

One day last week I took a glance at the scrapbook and noticed that my wife had it organized into days and that on the first day she had us walking through the city where we will be staying. The next page had us touring a museum in the same city.

“What if we don’t do those things on that day?” I asked.

“We have to,” my wife said.

“What if we decide to relax around the pool, go to a park or go shopping instead?” I asked.

    “We can’t,” my wife said.

According to my wife, we have to do exactly what the scrapbook says we should and we have to do it exactly when it says we should.

“You realize that’s insane,” I said to my wife.

“I don’t care,” my wife said.

Based on that, Emma and I have decided that on this trip we are going to ask that my wife stay 200 yards away from us.

As long as the scrapbook says that’s OK."

Haha I am glad I am not into scrapbooking all that much - I only ever get as far as pictures in an album and maybe a few ticket stubs!

The article makes it sounds like a hazardous hobby!

And if you are still not convinced of the dangers of scrapbooking and papercrafts in general, check this out. I love this lady:

Just sent that one on to my mam a couple of days ago! She's been collecting for years, I just shop in her craft room when I need paper and stuff.

The camera controller is funny too! This lady has 84,000 views, 1900 thumbs up, and 20 thumbs down. Now I just wonder who those 20 are? Craft companies perhaps? :D
