Im trying to graph a chart showing location (GPS) and Temperature. I saved both as txt files in notepad and am trying to put them into excel to make a graph. The data from the GPS looks like this: $GPRMC,215614.000,A,5321.389749,N,00626.973976,W,0.16,284.73,310113,,,A*7F
    $PTSI5544*1E
    $GPGGA,215615.000,5321.389926,N,00626.973415,W,1,5,1.54,26.330,M,55.163,M,,*7A
    $GPGSA,A,3,25,17,12,24,14,,,,,,,,1.80,1.54,0.94*07

Im not sure where to go from here and how to sort out this GPS information, any help would be greatly appreciated!

One thing you need is to know what coordinate system was used. It is also not clear where you got your data. When you say that you 'saved both as txt files', what exactly do you mean? What did you save? If you give us a bit more information as to what exactly you've done, we can probably help.

The Ordnance Survey of Ireland offers an extremely useful co-ordinate converter, free to download or to use online.
(Note: it doesn't work on the Mac OS)
