Very solid cast in this including Olivia Colman (Peep Show, Broadchurch), Lennie James (Jericho, The Walking Dead) and Neil Haskell (Utopia).

Run weaves together the stories of four seemingly unconnected people facing life-changing decisions. A series of four fast-paced narratives, Run is a compelling and surprising portrayal of modern British life and the unseen dramas which play out all around us. The series also features Jaime Winstone, Neil Maskell, Kate Dickie and Benedict Wong alongside an ensemble cast of new talent, brought together through an extensive grass roots audition process. It is created and written by newcomers Marlon Smith and Daniel Fajemisin-Duncan, directed by Bafta-nominated Charles Martin (Skins, Being Human, Wallander) and first-time drama director Jonathan Pearson, and is the debut drama commission from Acme Films, owned by Jaimie D'Cruz (Oscar-nominated Exit Through The Gift Shop) and Francesca Newby.

No announcement on an air-date yet, but looks quite good IMO!

Looks good. Nice to see Olivia Colman again. She is always good, even if Channel 4 have noticed she has been in a lot of shows recently!
Olivia Colman now stars in one out of every three TV shows. Here are a few she's made for Channel 4...

I just came on boards today to see if a thread for this programme existed...

Saw it last night and I was blown away by it. Great writing, directing and acting. The mian actress (can't think of her name, she's from The Peep Show EDIT Olivia Colman) really blew me away.

Anyone else see it and agree?

    It's ok.

Well acted but pretty formulaic and sometimes descends into parody and stereotype of the lower classes.

It doesn't really go anywhere new but it is solid and worth watching. Colman is superb.

The second episode looks more interesting.

    grim but good

it sends out a message....life isn't a bed of roses ...its harsh and its cruel for some people out there and this drama series portrays that brilliantly
