    Guys,

I've just received all of the parts today to start my new build and while getting all the items together I noticed on the CM Hyper 212 EVO box it doesn't say it'll fit a 1150 Socket.

Does anyone know if it fits, I've tried looking through a few builds people have recommended and I can't see these 2 together.

Your advice would be gratefully appreciated so I can start this build.

    Ant

Coolers for 1155 will fit socket 1150, you won't have a problem.

This is 3 part guide on how to build a pc from newegg, you could probably skip the first one,its about choosing your parts.

Ive linked part 2 of 3,i found it very useful:

Also uses a CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ Evo in one of the builds, which i think a lot of people here use

If you have a Haswell chip I wouldn't recommend that cooler. Stick the "macho 02 rev a" through geizdhl.de (google it, my spelling is probably not correct). You'll get it for 36 euro, much better cooler, queiter and more effective. Haswell runs a bit hotter than Ivy (weird, finnicky voltage settings).

You'll be fine really. You should get a nice 4.2/4.3 overclock.

Think Haswell is faster at the same clocks though so 4.2/4.3Ghz on a haswell should give same performance as a higher clocked ivy bridge.
