Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a bit of advice regarding what I need to do or documents I need to sort out when starting my first job. I've been in college for almost 8 years and am finally going to start a "real" job.
Is there anything in particular I should be aware of or look out for? How do I maximise my tax credits?

Can I claim tax back on my rent from the last few years while in college?

On a separate not, my OH is a nurse and is coming to the end of her first years contract, can she claim any tax back (for allowances or whatever) and how would she go about doing that?
