    Hi we are building an entrance for our new build and there is an eircom box in the ground in the way. Who do we contact to move it. Thanks

    Hi confused_help,

    These requests have to be issued in writing. Here is the process in full.


    Move Poles / Manhole covers, existing plant etc. (applies only to changes to eircom external plant)
    Move cable (excluding single drop wire, see item 7 & Payphone queries see item 12) manhole / manhole covers, cable cabinets or other eircom plant such as movement of poles.
    Customer advised to write to:
     Plant Alterations Eircom AEH
    Keanes rd ,
    Tycor
    Waterford
    or email directly plantalterations@eircom.ie
    Refer to section 7 for Plant Alterations charges .  Note for legal reasons the customer must contact the Plant Alterations section themselves. Escalations from sales or RSC staff cannot be processed.
    • Name
    • Address & Contact number (landline & mobile)
    • Description of customer's request
    Lead time approx 8 weeks from receipt of
