Is there a Dublin bus to Ashbourne? Or what is the cheapest quickest way to get there if commuting from Dublin city centre on public transport?

    Thanks

Bus Éireann's route 103 is the main bus route between the city and Ashbourne. It starts from Beresford Place - the side of Liberty Hall. The timetable (link below) lists the main stops - there are also several other stops within Ashbourne, along the route and within the city (e.g. Whitworth Road, Hart's Corner; Finglas):

Leap Card was recently introduced on routes 103 & 105. Details here:

The 109A links Ashbourne with the Airport, IKEA & DCU:

Infrequent routes also serving Ashbourne are the 107, 177:

The only Dublin Bus route serving Ashbourne is the 88N Nitelink service:

Hope the information is of some help.

I was in Ashbourne today, I got off at the step opposite Kelly's, but saw several closer to my destination, the Retail Park. Would drivers stop there on request?

I may have a job lined up in that direction, but it would be at strange hours, and I can't seem to find a bus back to Dublin later than half twelvish. I'll move if I have to, but I just thought it was worth asking if there's any chance of a private operator within walking distance of the town that runs any later?

There's a stop next to the old Marriott hotel as far as I know. The buses that go to Ratoath go up to the roundabout, do a U turn and would stop at it. Not sure about the ones going to Kilmoon Cross/Duleek, but I would imagine the drivers would stop at the Retail Park.

As far as I can see, the last bus from Ashbourne to Dublin is at 11.30pm on Monday - Saturday and 12.30am on Sundays. I know a Dublin Bus nightlink goes all the way to Ashbourne on weekends but I don't think it brings people back to Dublin from Ashbourne.

Thanks a million. I'm not in a mad rush to move out there, because I don't drive, but it looks like that's on the cards.

Thank you very much for your help!
