Where can I buy model Irish trains and accessories for a layout?

Not sure if anyone here will know but I am looking to find out where I can buy model irish trains and everything I need to build a layout. I have seen some of them via videos on YouTube and they look great and want to build my own layout with all the Irish stock. Can anyone help me??

Irish models will tend to be more expensive than their uk outline counterparts. Expect to pay something like €120 for a CIE 141/181 diesel, €130-€160 for a 071 class, maybe a bit less for a Murphys Models 201 if they're on special offer.

Don't bother with the older Lima 201 unless you're a collector, as it's a noisy and outdated model in terms of quality and detail.

You won't get new sets of Irish stock anymore, apart from a railcar set by Bachmann which is a repaint of a uk railcar set and not really what Irish Rail have, but looks ok at a distance.

You can still pick up the odd Bachmann CIE green steam locomotive and carriages sets, intended for the US market, every now and again.

Tabnabs the yuku site is all but abandoned in favour of the one I've listed above now due to the constant infighting.

modelshopbelfast.com is also a good place to source stuff though the shipping can be steep.
ehattons are the best, even the new stuff is cheaper than the irish stores, delivery is fast and cheap and service is superb.
