im planning on getting tar and chip done with beige chip. can anyone give me feedback on the wear of tar and chip in general. im not a big fan of tarmacadam use in the countryside and I've lots of trees in the general area and from looking at drive ways in the area the tarmac doesnt wear well visually. if anyone has any pictures of driveways over time it would be great.

    Hi Charlie,

I am in a similar position.
I am want to have chip and tar also where the chip are similar colour to the stone in our house (brown).
How did yours end up and were you happy with it?
    Any problems with it?
Rough cost of the work or cost per sq meter?
Where in country did you do it? I am in Mayo.
Could you post any photos of it?

Not sure how to finish our driveway, i want the best job that looks good and is relatively low maintenance and hopefully low cost.

Any help here would be great as i would like to plan/budget for it for not so distant future.

    Thanks,
    B

    Hi bauney,

I've deleted your other posts. One post asking the same question is enough and it's generally considered bad form to post in threads older than a few months. Please stick to one thread for your query, or start a new thread for yourself. Thanks.
