I just found out about this: http://www.mahonpointfarmersmarket.com/

Just wondering if anyone's been there and what you think of it? Looks amazing from the pictures and I love their philosophy!

It's fantastic- especially in the sun! It's only there between 10am and 3pm on Thursdays - which is such a shame! Mahon Point is such a soulless place, the market really brings it to life! Oh....great food too!

Get there for one at the latest. Things start selling out quickly and stalls start to pack up around quarter past 2

Can only repeat what others have already said. It's a great market, lots of lunch options, sweet treats and quality food to take home and cook yourself. Pity it's only there on Thursdays. If you're planning on having lunch, you should try and get there at around half 12. The queues aren't so bad at that time and nothing has sold out yet :)

Was there @ half 12 today, extremely busy, with schools out and the lovely weather. So therefore if weather equals lovely and school term equals high probability of kids on holidays plus extra businesses opening in the area i.e. DFS or Ronan Jermyn Daly.... Get there as early as possible

Headed down there this morning. I'd forgotten just how great it is. I'm completely broke, but I managed to buy a tub of green pesto from the place that sells cheese, hummous and pestos. It's absolutely fantastic!
