Hi, i'm looking for a good hardtail mountain bike that is light, rugged and has disk brakes. My budget is 300 - 400 Euro. Any thoughts ?? :confused:

Your budget is insufficient for a new bike.

Something like a Specialized Hardrock is usually recommended.

In the same boat myself, just been looking the last few days at what's available. What's with the stumpy stems on more recent models? Go back a few years and the stems are considerably longer.

Anyway, this Felt popped up on the adverts sub-forum, looks to have a decent spec, though maybe a little pricey, considering it's age.
