Motortax.ie not processing payment?

Hey, just wondering anyone else had this problem when you try to pay online for motortax but it just keeps saying card details invalid? I mean I entered everything perfectly but it still says wrong details? I have AIB Visa Debit?
My tax is expired today and well apparently I can't renew it online now, if I go to motortax office will I get disc straight away?

Dunno, I paid yesterday with my visa debit card and the payment went through within seconds.

Yes, but depending where you are, in the Dublin area you might have to wait 1-2 hours before your number is up

If you do it online, you won't get the disc, put you can print off the reference number to show a Garda in case you get stopped...

You didn't get a new card recently did you? AIB are rolling out new debit cards this year and maybe you just confused the old and new expiry dates or something?

When you pay in person you get the disc immediately.

I paid in person in my local tax office only a few months ago, March maybe.

I think it might be AIB, I'm having trouble paying online. Went to ring them and it said there having a large volume of calls and I'm on hold

I paid my motor-tax online and a cro bill online using my AIB VISA debit-card. The offers of money were grabbed instantly by the Govt. Depts. concerned.

I ended up driving to AIB, checking my balance, apparently my bill for M50 came on 28th and 30 euro was taken off me. So it was just not enough funds. Paid now.
