Changing rent allowance details

    I;m currently in receipt of rent allowance and have recently changed banks.

    My rent allowance is dealt with by the central rents unit rather than the cwo so I sent a letter to the central rents unit explaining my bank details changed and could they update them about three weeks before my rent allowance was due to be paid.

    Received this month's payment last week and it went to my old account.

    I was wondering should I give it more time or send them another letter? Or is there a better way to contact them?

    I also sent the children's allowance a letter informing them and they got back to me a week later saying they updated the info.
