Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can answer my question.
I played in an open comp on the 26th & it was updated into my golfnet on the 29th - I played a competition in my home club on the 29th (date when other comp updated) & it's now the 1st & there is no record for the comp I played in on the 29th and this is unusual because they are normally up very quickly. My golfnet hasn't been updated since the 29th so is it a case only one competition can be updated on one day & it will be there once it is updated again. I may also add in that the competition on the 29th has updated in my friends golfnet. Thanks :)

For your score to be included in club competition results on golfnet requires at least 3 things to happen:
    • You need to enter your score into your club computer system
    • competition needs to be closed on your club computer system
    • your club competition results need to be uploaded through the link to the golfnet system
If your friend's results in the same competition are on golfnet and you have entered your score, I suggest you contact your club competition / handicap secretary about it.

Would it be that my golfnet had been updated already that day & his wasn't?

    No!

I'm giving you the benefit of my experience on my club's match and handicap committee. I am not an expert in the golfnet system - all I can say is I've never come across the set of conditions you describe.

But I have come across similar complaints and the usual explanation is that the player forgot to input his score, didn't do it correctly or there was a delay in closing the comp or updating the club comp results on golfnet.

Have never experienced one member's results being updated and another's being omitted for the same comp. (when both sets of scores had been input correctly).

As I said earlier, best contact your match & handicap secretary.
