What size wheels available for a 35 or 2000, 28 or 32 inch? Then measure from your waist to your head (waist should be roughly level with top of tyre) and then allow another 12 inches or so headroom for the cab roof.

So that's 3ft plus 3ft for tyres plus a foot or so for room between your head and cab and from cab to underpass. Tractor without a cab is probably the only way.

It won't do any work in low sheds but would a knackered jeep do the job of following the cattle, surely get an unroadworthy one cheap

probably very rare now but I think Cabcraft or Lambourn made "quick detatch" cabs in the 70s and 80s for Massey 135s. how quick it actually would work I dont know.

Maybe if you post in the main farming forum on Boards you'll get more responses.

Look into the New Holland tn80f. I saw one in England a couple of years back and was surprised how low it was. It may be over 6 ft bit not by much and is worth a check.

Scratch that its 88 inches high. That is the lowest tractor I know of unfortunately mate.

My advice if you want a cab is to go for a used compact tractor with a front loader. Max power would be 50hp but that would leave enough grunt to cleans sheds, spread manure or spraying etc. There are plenty of options on the market due to the slowdown in Landscaping work. You may have to invest in Tyres if going down this road as most of these tractors will be on Floatation/Low Impact tyres which may be unsuitable for farm work.
Of course you're budget will be the main factor in the quality you can obtain.

    Here are some examples.

Compact tractor with cab still nowhere near under 6'. I know because I also have stone built stables with exactly 6' doorways that can't be made any higher. Only choice is a compact with a folding roll-bar and forget the cab. Or, a skid-steer, which is the way I went. And they're damn usefull yokes.

Even the smallest of compact or alpine tractors with cabs are 2 meters (6' 6") and up.
Many can be supplied with rollbars (which are also 2 meters + high) which can be folded down for low access though.
Perhaps something along those lines might be suitable?
