Internet Radio - No longer streams Newstalk

Hi,

I have a Roberts internet radio. I was streaming Newstalk successfully for ages. Despite the fact that I can find Newstalk, it will not paly it. Any ideas?

As it's a Roberts, do you have favourites set up under Wi-fi Frontier?

Am not a NT listener myself, but it doesn't seem to work for me through that, either. Might be an issue at their end.

I too have a Roberts Internet radio and Newstalk is set as one of the stations I listen too. Same problem this morning as you are having. Didn't pay too much attention as in the past few weeks occasionally Newstalk wouldn't connect but if I left it for a while the next time I tried it did. Thought it was just my broadband connection. Hopefully there is somebody out there who might have the answer.

NT will also not stream on their iPhone app.

They really need to sort out their App, it has been a nightmare for the last month or so. So annoying when you're unable to connect

For the phone,tab and PC users use Tunein Radio works everytime.:)

Just follow the instructions. You'll need an existing Frontier Silicon Radio Portal account.

I've used Tunein Radio Lite and didn't find it very reliable. I purchased Tunein Radio Pro this morning and so far it working very well

Tunein Pro is great value if you enjoy radio. Newstalk working well for me tonight. Mark Coleman involved in a great debate with guests about Islamic violence. Got VERY heated.

Update - did nothing to Internet radio (afraid I am a Luddite and technical solutions were beyond me ) turned it on just now to Newstalk and guess what working fine. Hopefully it will stay working, otherwise I will have to swallow my pride and seek out a six year old to do the technical stuff for me!

Newstalk wouldnt work on my pc and i tried several sites, went into this and it worked straight away. Thanks again.
