GAA Championship 2013 - any HD broadcasts?

    I don't remember seeing any games on RTE 2 HD in actual HD yet this year. Provincial finals onwards maybe? Double header on in croker today, but not indicated as HD in the EPG.

    All Ireland series itself I think, not provincial semis.
    RTÉ Two Television will broadcast a comprehensive package of 31 live games, including a record 20 matches in high definition on RTÉ Two HD, across this summer’s GAA Championships including both the All-Ireland Football and Hurling Championship finals, all of the semi-finals, and four of this year’s quarter-finals. The Munster football and hurling finals will be broadcast live on RTÉ Two as well as the Leinster Senior Hurling Final.

    Meath v Tyrone in HD on RTE2 HD. Message on screen just indicated this, even though neither Sky or Saorview EPG is indicating the match is due to be in HD.

    I seem to remember reports some time ago that RTÉ had contracted a UK multimedia firm to improve & enhance it's digital profile. I think that this was not only to cover their online image but also the Saorview EPG also, providing a more informative & interactive service (series link & possibly red button).
