    Greetings,

I have a PS3, still original seal, never opened. Still have receipt from Game Store in Bray.

Is this worth keeping. Should I sell it.

Or should I just open it and use it.

I have read that this model is completely different to others in the range.

Back compatible with PS1 and 2 games. 95% and upwards.

also some unopened games and Controller, the TV Remote style one.

Games are Resistance Fall of man
    F1 Championship Edition.

    Regards
    Silverski

I see, 50 Quid for the remote, I will consider your offer, it is a Blue-ray remote controller, in more than excellent condition

Being a 60GB is a good selling point for a PS3, but you have an even better selling point in the the system software is still the original number - that's the true value of your console.

Mod: Since this is a very thinly veiled "I have a PS3 for sale" thread, I'm going to lock it.
You're question has been answered, sell it or play it.

Edit: Re-opening as op sent a PM stating PS3 is not for sale - is just looking for advice.

    Greetings all,

Can you help explain about the system software original number and the advantages of this.

what ever you do don't sell it to gamestop. I went to trade in mine bout a year ago and they said they'd give me 20 quid for it. They said they don't want the older models because the new slim ones had been released. My advice is to keep it and don't open it or sell it privately. Personally I would keep it as many people wouldn't be interested in it at this moment in time and offer you jacks poo for it.
    Keep it!

If its lasted this long without being opened/used, you may as well leave it that way. Could be worth a few bob to a collector in the future

I would definitely buy it off you if you were selling it in the future.

    I'd venture a guess that it's on firmware < 3.55 - mod it!
