Increased frequency of burnt vape

    So I've been vaping for 8 days now and I'm noticing a more frequent incidence of that horrible burnt taste from the vape. It's not prohibitive by any means but it's stll more than I would like it to be. I'm wondering what causes this?

    I have an eGo-T with CE4 clearos. I've been using the same clearo for the 8 days. I did wonder if perhaps it could do with a washout or a replace, but it doesnt seem like it comes apart to wash it out. Is it perhaps because the wicks are drying out on parts?

    The drip tip screws off and then you should be able to screw the head off and replace with a new one. I'd say 8 days is a decent return on those heads. You can buy replacement heads on most stores I'd say.

    The heads are about a fiver each I think, which is not bad but not having to replace them every week at a fiver a go would be great if possible. I found a good vid on cleaning the CE4 so I'll give this a try first and see how it works out. Even if it just gets one extra good week out of it I'd be happy with that.

    I don't use clearo's s but a fiver each sounds ridiculous....

    Are these the same heads?

    Even if they're not, some of the other online shops are bound to have them for a couple of euro each at most I'd say.

    Yep, the whole clearo is a fiver but just getting the replacement heads should only be about 1-80 to 2 euro each.

    Wouldn't say so......the silica wick is just wrapped in mesh as far as the coil but I think the coil is just standard silica and wire so it'd clog/burn just like the rest of them Id say. It's a bit misleading the way they call them SS mesh actually because it gives the impression the wick is SS mesh only when in reality it's still the same except for a bit of mesh wrapped around the wick.

    The state of that site.

    If you want some decent clearomizers there's better ones on offer;

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/41-clearomizers

    If you like the CE4+ go with the VISION CE4 as its a lot more reliable.

    Sorted. Thanks!

    Just gotta figure out how to remove the heads now. I'll do a google search but Im guessing they just pull out with a needle-nose pliers or tweezers?

    If it is the type to take replacement heads, they screw out.

    Buy yourself 4 or 5 different clearomizers and maybe 1 pack of Boge cartos.You would generally spend that amount on smokes in less than a week and you will more than likely purchase them at some stage.This way you can see whats best suited to you and you will have the all important 'backup stash' if anything goes wrong,like forgetting how the postal service works or Armageddon.
