Hi all, looking for a little advice.

I got a filling in Meath and got hit with a cost of 160euro. When i called up was told 70/80.

Believe me its not sour grapes. Was my first time at this dentist and in fairness i think she did a very good job. When i waw told the price i just handed them my card as my head was up my u not what.

My question is, is 160 fair for these services, or did i get taken for a ride? I also got an x ray on ig

Usually about €80 for a filling, I imagine the rest was for x-ray and initial consultation / check up, dentists are required to display a pricelist in a prominent position AFAIK
