Hi! I'm starting as a mature student in September in TCD. (working part time). Hoping to move to Dublin soon, I'm (a young : > ) 36, I like meeting people and enjoy my nights out but really want to do well at this course and need my home to be an environment that is conducive to that and not a party house? I'm in to music, books, food and more besides and pretty much of the mind that good people make good times: ) Non smoking house preferred, happy to share with students, profs, men, women and most of the other labels that people choose to identify themselves by ; ) I'm friendly and sociable, I'm hoping to find housemates that are considerate and respectful, un intrusive and know how to clean up after themselves lol, It'd be great to find people that like to have a chat, know how to share a meal or a bottle of wine and like to have a laugh etc.
Ideally, looking for somewhere within (safe) 20-30 mins walking distance of city centre but open to options that balance travel time and costs against rent.
hoping to find like minded people to house search with or a room available somewhere!

HI,

I have a double room to let in a lovely apartment in Blackrock. 3 minutes walk from the dart, less than 2 minutes to Smurfit and located right beside the 2 shopping centres also.

hi garlicmayo and katx, thank you both for posting! unfortunately they are both waaay to far outside the city for me!would consider walking distances like drumcondra/ranelagh etc. but ideally something city centre. also my budget is really top end 450, absolute max 500 but at that rate it would have to be very central and very special lol.
thanks again for posting, i hope ye both find wonderful tenants. ( have you looked in the tenant database in the sharing section of the daft website? or on easyroommate? i definitely came across people there looking for rooms more in that direction)

should prob mention that my budget is prob max 450 monthly.
also it would be ideal to find one other single person and one other couple to go house hunting with as an alternative to the usual option of searching established house shares : )
