I am a seller based in Northern Ireland, and have sold a pair of shoes to a girl in Dublin. The listing originally stated I shipped to UK - but I agreed to post to Dublin for this buyer.

    She won the item.

I sent the invoice for intl post etc but It wont let her pay it as 'Item cannot be shipped to your country'.

Is there any way around this? Ive tried to change this but I cant amend the listing as its now closed!

Did you contact Ebay? They can sometimes be helpful.

Or perhaps the buyer could send you payment by paypal for goods bought, the fees would be still be deducted at your end and the buyer would still be covered by paypal protection.

In my experience when it came to paying for goods, I was able to pay through Ebay, because the seller let me put my own amount in for the postage (the agreed amount of course).

Send her a Paypal invoice and say in it that it is for eBay items . - also include the eBay item number on this invoice

Thanks guys, sorted with a paypal invoice.
How do I mark the item as paid for on ebay now though?

I haven't sold anything for ages. But isn't there a drop down menu or something that you can choose payment recieved? As a buyer I know that you can go to the list click on more actions (far right of item) and choose payment sent, so I assume the seller also has that option.
