    Hi,

I am thinking of doing a jobbridge internship which starts in September, 3 months in college and 6 months with a employer. My Job seekers benefit will run out during this time. I dont think I will qualify for job seekers allowance as my wife is working eventhough we have a big mortgage etc etc.
I thought I read that if your on JB while doing the internship that you will still get it because you are doing this course and once the internship is over I would go back to JB and my remaining stamps would run out then. I could be completely wrong but if anyone could clarify, I would appreciate it;)

If I’m signing for credits and/or my stamps run out during the internship, what
    happens?
An individual’s entitlements or stamps are unable to run out during an internship.
They are effectively frozen for the period spent on the National Internship Scheme and will resume immediately upon completion subject to their circumstances not changing.
