Have a new HP Scanner and want to download the software for it .

So it downloads to a certain point and then tells me that there is not enough space to complete download .

It automatically defaults to download to C drive .

My C drive has only 10gb and 426mb free - whereas my D drive has 64gb free and 60gb free .

Can I change the default , so that it downloads automatically to D Drive ?

    PC is win XP .

I have looked at all installed programmes , and there are none in ther that I can delete to free up space in C drive .

So ideally I need to install this 450mb in D drive .
